Four weddings in five years– I had never used a wedding planner. I used Amy Miller Weddings & Events for our third wedding, held in Memphis. Hiring Amy was absolutely the best money that we spent.

Amy had recommendations and sources for every question that we had. She responded to every question promptly and was great at holding the reins when we considered going outside budget, able to come up with alternative solutions that took care of issues. Outside of the wedding event, she helped us with details for a party at our home on Thursday evening, helped find a venue for the rehearsal dinner, and had great suggestions for caterers and setup for Sunday brunch after the wedding.

I was very impressed with everything that she did, but the reason that I would go to Amy for any event that I had in the Memphis area was her follow-through after the wedding. We had small issues with both the caterer and venue. Amy made the calls and stuck with it until all parties reached a mutually agreed upon settlement. I was very impressed with that– she had been paid and could have walked away.

She provided a beautiful wedding event timeline, which brought many compliments from guests. She is detail-oriented and made sure everything was handled for the weekend– one of the last people to leave a wonderful reception.
